General safety sign
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the
literature accompanying the product.
Dangerous voltage
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product's enclosure
that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
NOTICE
Indicates in combination with a safety sign a hazardous situation which, if not avoided,
will result in damage to equipment.
CAUTION
Indicates in combination with a safety sign a potentially hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury or damage to equipment.
WARNING
Indicates in combination with a safety sign a potentially hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
DANGER
Indicates in combination with a safety sign a hazardous situation which, if not avoided,
will result in death or serious injury.
